Well, the Polish police have broken the news. The thieves who stole the historic Arbeit Macht Frei sign from over the gates Auschwitz death camp aren't Neo-Nazis after all. Just a bunch of common thieves.

I can just imagine how this crime took place. A few common thieves happen to pass by Auschwitz when they spontaneously decide to steal the Arbeit Macht Frei. Surely no one will know where they got it, so it will no doubt sell for a fortune on the black market.

Nope, certainly Anti-Semitism had nothing to do with it.

Have we actually become so stupidly politically correct that the Reuters "news" organization prints this drivel as if it's a factual account?

Let the world be warned: they only come for the Jews first.

"A 30-year-old Albanian Muslim who wanted to see Jews killed has been convicted of terror offences after Hizbollah instruction manuals on making missiles and suicide bomb belts were found in his home." That's the news in Manchester, where it seems that the "belt-bomb" fashion-craze of the Middle East may be coming into style.

Of course, there's no need for anyone to be alarmed; he only wanted to kill some Jews.

Be warned: the Jews are just the canary in the terrorist coal mine.

Have no fear, London! Mumbai terrorism is on its way, but no doubt the police will protect you. Besides, it won't be so bad. The detective from Scotland Yard said “companies should anticipate a shooting and hostage-taking raid 'involving a small number of gunmen with handguns and improvised explosive devices.'” How much damage could a "small number of gunmen with handguns" possibly do?

In Israel, this sort of thing is prevented by armed civilians.

In London, handguns are illegal.

In New York City, handguns are legal, but effectively outlawed by Bloomberg & Co., making New York essentially a "gun-free zone."
